DiscAbilities Adaptive Phys Ed Program
Three days a week our experts travel to one NYC public school each morning during the school year to work with students with special needs in Adaptive Physical Education classes.

NYC After School Recreation Program

Three days each week, our disc experts travel to a Parks & Recreation center to teach kids important life skills through flying disc games
(Ultimate and Disc Golf) and other non-contact, co-educational activities.

Project HAPPY
(Hunter Activities Program for Parents & Youth):
Eighty to one hundred children, with diverse developmental and /or physical challenges, participate in the "open program" which welcomes people with special needs. It provides tasks and games appropriate to each individual's ability on Saturdays during the school year.

Kids Island Camp
Two to four groups of about twenty "at risk" youth per day, from NYC recreation centers, learn the popular sport of Disc Golf, and other non-contact flying disc activities. We stress the importance of teamwork. The DiscAbilities Sports Center on Randall's Island is a beautiful venue for this three day a week co-ed summer program.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Program
DiscAbilities brings the healthful fun of flying disc activities to the therapeutic arena, addressing PTSD which has resulted from the ongoing threat of terrorism. In collaboration with experts in the field of emotional healing, we will create a place to play, talk, and air our concerns.
